This notion of verticality is a nod to the topography of the district, which has the highest point in Paris. The typographic block of the logotype, composed of rounded lower case letters, retains the friendly, human spirit of the 20th district.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The organic style refers to a very green area, where the vegetation is as firmly rooted today as it was in the past<\/strong>: its vines and lilacs in reference to the historic coat of arms, its 7 rivers that are now buried, the P\u00e8re Lachaise, the largest park in the city...[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][\/vc_row_inner][vc_single_image image=\"69133\" img_size=\"full\" alignment=\"center\"][vc_single_image image=\"69157\" img_size=\"full\" alignment=\"center\"][vc_gallery interval=\"3\" images=\"69251,69151,69147,69149,69145\" img_size=\"full\"][vc_single_image image=\"69155\" img_size=\"full\" alignment=\"center\"][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=\"1\/3\"][\/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=\"2\/3\"][vc_column_text]\n<h2>A cheerful, adaptable visual system that makes the most of spoken word<\/h2>\n<p>When we landed on this graphic pirouette of a \"20th\" emblem that is both a number and a letter, we were very concerned to make it a central element of the new graphic charter that could be adapted. <strong>In order to increase the visibility and awareness of this symbol, we imagined editorial principles composed in the bespoke lettering we designed for the logotype, using words with the letter 'g' to include our '20th' glyph<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The sentences we came up with are all pretexts for emancipating the new emblem of the 20th district of Paris to create an image that is both institutional and surprising and creative for more event-based communications. The new visual identity of the 20th district and its City Hall is now more distinctive and better adapted to digital uses.<\/p>\n<p><strong>A smart logo that creates a lively, adaptable visual system based on words that convey the identity of the location, incorporating the \"20e\/g\" emblem<\/strong>. It is famous for its P\u00e8re Lachaise cemetery, a popular green tourist attraction. Thanks to its architecture and monuments, the district retains vestiges of its industrial past, as well as modern buildings, workshops and religious monuments. This cultural and historical diversity makes the 20th district a place rich in personality.<br \/>\nThe 20th district of Paris is made up of seven districts: Amandier - M\u00e9nilmontant, Belleville, Gambetta, Plaine Lagny, R\u00e9union - P\u00e8re Lachaise, Saint Blaise and T\u00e9l\u00e9graphe - Pelleport - Saint-Fargeau.<br \/>\nThe current logo of the 20th district city hall says nothing about the borough. Its rectangular shape is difficult to use on certain communication media. As far as the title is concerned, it should be noted that there has been a recent trend in the rebranding of Paris town hall logos to remove the word \"Paris\". The reason for this is the obligation to use the City of Paris' graphic charter.<br \/>\nThe 20th district does not really have a \u00ab\u00a0Mona Lisa\u00a0\u00bb monument, as it is more embodied in its values than in its geography or monuments.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=\"1\/2\"][vc_column_text]\n<h4>Objectives<\/h4>\n<p>To design a new logo that better embodies the district's values and is easier to use in the highly restrictive context of social networks and, more generally, digital media. Create a graphic logo system that can be used to create logos for the seven districts.
